Services
Work for the attorney's file.
Four kinds of work, each quoted as a flat fee for a defined project. Every project starts with an inquiry and a conflict check.
The first two produce new work from source records. Second Look gives you feedback on work that already exists. Custom projects cover everything else.

01
Fiduciary accountings and inventories
I prepare the account or inventory from the source records, in the form the court requires. The attorney receives a set that is ready to review and file.
Each set includes
- The accounting or inventory in the court's required form
- Supporting schedules tied to the source documents
- A cover sheet and an index

02
Record reconstruction and tracing
When records are incomplete or out of order, I rebuild account activity from bank and brokerage statements. Transactions are categorized, and items that need the attorney's attention are flagged.
You receive
- Account activity rebuilt by account and period
- Categorized transactions
- A list of items flagged for attorney review

Second Look
A fresh set of eyes on work that already exists. Send me an accounting, a file, a set of exhibits, or a draft, and tell me what concerns you. I read it as a careful outsider and write down what I see.
You receive a written memo, to the attorney only, covering
- What is clear, what is unsupported, and what is missing
- Places where the documents disagree with each other or with the records
- Questions you may want to ask
- Items that would need tracing, so you can decide whether to commission it as a separate project
Where financial items are part of the file, the memo also lists questioned or unsupported transactions with a dollar range, and any high-level flags, such as direct transfers to a named person.
The memo gives feedback on what the documents show. It does not give legal conclusions or strategy. A questioned or unsupported transaction is an item for review. It is not a conclusion about anyone's conduct.

Custom projects
Describe the bottleneck or the question. If it fits within the working terms, I will tell you whether I can take it. I choose which projects to accept.
Examples of projects that may fit
- Outcome scenarios: net recovery under intestacy, a win, and a loss, using your fee estimates and assumptions
- A written description of a bottleneck in how records or accounting work moves through your office, with options to fix it
- Standard operating procedures for recurring records and accounting tasks
- Standardized templates and schedules for accountings and exhibits
- Small tools for your office, such as an internal tracking sheet
Scope and fit vary. I decide after reading your description.
